Samsung Galaxy S3 COMING OUT?


Samsung's Galaxy S III was not announced at MWC 2012 as some rumors were predicting, but Samsung plans on announcing the next generation smartphone via Twitter. After several articles were posted with claims of inside information on the Galaxy S II announcement, Samsung officially stated over their Twitter account that they were false, and that no official launch date has been set. When an official date is laid out, Samsung assured the Twitterverse that we would hear it from them first.

In regards to an approximate launch for the Galaxy S III, Samsung stated this:
The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product
The Galaxy S III will be the follow up to the Galaxy S II, which is Samsung's most popular smartphone to date, breaking sales records. The Galaxy S III will have Android 4.0 ICS out of the box, and is rumored to have a 4.8 inch display with full 1080p resolution. Other specs included a 1.5GHz quad-core Processor, 32GB - 64GB internal storage, NFC, LTE connectivity, an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The device is rumored to be only 7mm in thickness
